We are proud to say that as far as we know, TechDirect Solutions is the only hydroseeding company in Kenya and we mainly specialise in road and highway construction projects although we can handle any project that requires grass and vegetation cover restoration. Besides hydroseeding grass and herb vegetation, our technology and products help in controlling soil erosion. Therefore, we work in a sustainable way where every aspect of environmental conservation and protection is taken care of. Our team is composed of vegetation scientists and therefore we are able to recommend and plant the most suitable grass or other herb and shrub plants that match different ecological areas and climatic conditions. We are able to mobilise staff and equipment over short periods and ensure project integrity and completion is done on time.
Our grass planting programs are not limited to hydroseeding method alone! we can also use traditional methods of using vegetative material using spot planting with sods or with root splits or rhizomes. Of course a number of factors will determine the approach. One of our current projects is the Ruiru-Githunguri-Uplands road which we are using hydroseeding methodology.
